Black Wrap Coat & Evelyn Coach Boots
Four more weeks until spring. That’s what I keep telling myself every time we hit a cold snap. This past weekend though, was a different story. The white snow and frigid temperatures had a cozy undertone, inspiring me to dress up and leave my winter hibernation. With my black wrap coat from Zara and my Coach Evelyn Boots, I braced the cold weather and enjoyed a day exploring local wineries.
First we stopped by Caroline Cellars, a small family-run winery with an amazingly delicious (and cheap) lunch menu. It’s a cute farmhouse converted into a tasting room and a restaurant, and believe me, their food never disappoints. Their wine is considered table wine â good but not amazing â so after we filled up on lunch we headed over to the Queens Landing Hotel.
The Queens Landing bar, Bacchus, has a deeply glamorous feel to it. Surrounded by mahogany walls and black leather seats, it’s a romantic setting that pairs perfectly with a glass of wine. Queens Landing Hotel is actually my favourite Vintage Hotel because it’s not located on the main strip, so it’s never as busy as the others.
After wine we headed back home, walked London and got back to working on the house.
While I normally opt for my winter parka, I thoroughly enjoyed wandering with this black wrap coat. I’ve been trying to find one that fits my frame for two years! At first I was set on the Tahari black wrap coat (linked below), but even the extra small was too big on me. #PetiteWomanProblems. So when I found this coat hanging in Zara you could say it was love at first site. It might not be worthy of sub zero temperatures, but for a day of exploring food and wine it fit just right. Seems the winter isn’t so bad after all đ
