Medium Loewe Basket Bag | How I feel three years later

Time flies by so fast nowadays! And a lot has changed over the last three years, especially in the fashion industry. My medium LOEWE basket bag has been a timeless piece in my closet for the last three years. I couldn’t be happier about this purchase. In my original LOEWE Basket Bag review in 2019, I talked about the importance of purchasing ethical and sustainable items. Items that will have a low impact on the environment. This statement still holds true as I try to purchase timeless pieces for my closet that have a long shelf life and are of good quality.

I first saw the Basket Bag in 2018 while on Instagram and I fell in love with the simple detailing! The versatility of a wicker basket bag is what drew me to it in the first place. I could bring this bag anywhere, the beach, the market or just for any summer occasion. The timelessness of this rustic bag and natural colouring still holds up today. I have used this for the last few spring and summers, especially on hot days where this basket bag completes my country living look that I’ve adopted since moving to Niagara-on-the-Lake. I also took it to France, which was breathtaking by itself!

When I’m not travelling, I use this bag heavily in the spring and summer. The medium Loewe Basket Bag has such a versatile and rustic look to it that it can be paired with any outfit you have in your closet. Whether it be paired with a long flowy summer dress or with a trench coat and jeans, the basket bag definitely delivers in matching your outfit.

However, with time and popularity, this basket bag has become somewhat of an iconic bag. It’s been sold out many times and has gone up in price due to inflation. Even though the price has increased over the years, I would still recommend making this purchase. Take it from me, this bag is such a versatile and timeless item, that can last you for years to come!
